Enabling cURL on XAMPP
- Locate the directory where you installed XAMPP in Appendix A.
- Open /php directory
- Right click on “php.ini” file and open with notepad
- Use “Ctrl + F” to open find box
- Search for “curl”
- You will find a line ;extension=php_curl.dll
- Remove “;” from the beginning of the line
- Save file
- Close file
- Open XAMPP control panel via xampp-control.exe located in your XAMPP directory.
- It should show the following
- 12. Stop Apache and MySQL
- Wait till the services have stopped
- Start Apache and MySQL
- Wait till they are “Running”
- Close XAMPP control panel
